In this interview, the Game Director states, "Of course it depends on how you define beautiful bodies, but for us we wanted to come up with the most attractive looking body for the user, so this is why we made the decision to work with her."

- Sony was in charge of Localization, PR, and Marketing.

In the "Behind The Scenes" video, they state that real life versions of the outfits were purchased.
Then, they had a model wear the outfit and scanned it into 3D.
They did this to achieve a "higher quality and realistic visuals".
In the day one version of the game(v.1002), the level of quality and visuals is LOW for most of the censored outfits.
All of the censored outfits have a seam line at the neck.
There appears to have been a rush to censor the outfits due to the pixelation, artifacting, and lack of detail that the censored outfits contain.

Stellar Blade X Account Announces Uncensored In All Countries

Up to this point, Game Director Hyung-Tae Kim, made it clear that the game's main character Eve, would have "the most attractive looking body".
Hyung-Tae Kim would always push back when questioned if Eve's body was realistic.
By this time, the Demo had been released, which contained blood.
Several trailers had been released with Eve wearing various outfits, some being the ones that were censored.
A large part of the customer base expressed they were deceived once the day one patch released and censored 10 outfits. Twelve once the Kunoichi's were released.

Stellar Blade Update V1.003 Released

The new update introduces 5 new Nano suits.
Two of the five Nano suits are found to be censored.
The Black and White Kunoichi outfits were found to be present on the disk(v1.000).
The transparancey of the skirt on the Kunoichi is decreased in v1.003 vs v1.000 where it's very transparent. Eve's body is also changed in the update.
TWO complimentary outfits were provided as compensation for the TEN censored outfits.
A majority of the customer base felt this was a "win", when in reality the game is still censored.
